Remi Lion King and Gershwin have both been approved for the New Zealand Warmblood Association by inspector Matthias Werner from Germany.

To get the “Approved” ribbons is a coup for us as both stallions were purchased at a young age and Vollrath had to ‘produce’ them over time to this current status!

Congratulations to Jutta who did all the ground work and training with these lovely stallions, and also presented them on Saturday.

First up for approval was Gershwin. He was excited but behaved very well.

Gershwin enjoyed his jumping – showing no hesitation at all. On all attempts he left the rails in place … showing a good technique in front and behind.

Lion King certainly showed off his capabilities – he was just so cool and willing to perform!

And true to form he approached and completed the jumps with his easy ways, showing very good lift for a youngster who came virtually ‘green’ into the jumping task. Lion King is not just a good mover but he shows his jumping style very well.
