Black Hanoverian Colt – DE 431316638310; * 07.04.2010;
by Goldfever II x Roxanne (Ramires) [Extended pedigree]
On Jutta’s 2010 visit to Germany she followed in Berny’s footsteps and brought home GERSHWIN.
With plenty of phone calls we decided to go against the trendy flow: not ‘bottle-necking’ our bloodlines and to bring to our breeding programme a young colt with old but super established traditional performance bloodlines for jumping and dressage.
Gershwin is pictured above and below in October 2013, ridden by Jutta and showing clear progress and advancing to Jutta’s satisfaction. She says: “He is easy to ride!”
And we expect that his offspring will be the same. He has started his stallion career by serving our mare ‘Gurteen’s Velvet’ in a very established fashion showing strong stallion qualities which is a testament to his character and temperament.

Below: Gershwin during his first ride, on August 21, 2013. Berny says: “He behaved very well, if the photos were as good as he was then it would be perfect. However I had to take the pics from a ‘concealed’ place not to potentially disturb the horse.”
